Mission: Improve through education and charity the health, safety, and well-being of domesticated animals in our community. It is also committed to preventing cruelty to all animals through education and charity. Goals include, promote and share responsibility for proper care and placement of surrendered, lost and abandoned animals; promoting the spaying and neutering of animals; and education of pet owner responsibility.
Programs: A trap neuter/spay and release (tnr) program was formed to assist with feral cat population within the county. The voucher program for neuter/spay of cats and dogs to assist in reducing the population. A pet meals on wheels program to help senior citizens within the county to feed their animals. Helps support the county animal shelter. An educational magazine is distributed to local students in all elementary schools grade 3 through 5 to teach good pet ownership.
