Our goal is to provide a free public education program to help people make informed, humane and conscientious choices affecting animals. We seek to improve the quality of care that companion animals receive, reduce animal abandonment, and promote compassion and respect for all living things.
Results: We educate approximately 15,000 children and adults per year about responsible pet care and animal welfare.

I have given many presentations on behalf of Paws and Learn. I see firsthand how information can play a critical role in improving the care companion animals receive. Kids love learning pet care tips and bite safety info. I've had countless kindergarten aged kids remember and recite information they learned from us the prior year as pre-schoolers. I've also had numerous adults get their pets spayed or neutered directly as a result of our presentations and providing low-cost resources. We've also been able to encourage numerous adults to adopt a pet instead of buy one once they learn about the homeless pet crisis in the U.S. I love knowing we do great work spreading humane messages throughout our community!
