Mission: Paterson Habitat (PHFH) is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, an ecumenical Christian housing ministry open to homeowners and volunteers of all backgrounds, ages, races and religions. PHFH was founded in 1984. By the end of 2010, close to 230 families in Paterson have become homeowners through the Habitat program and major community planning initiatives were underway.
Programs: Habitat for Humanity builds quality, affordable housing for working families. Homes are built with homeowner sweat equity and volunteer labor and sold at no-profit with a 0% mortgage financed by Habitat.
