Causes: Crime & Law, Dispute Resolution & Mediation
Mission: To provide relief to the underserved, vulnerable and underrepresented populations in florida such as, but not limited to, families, minorities, children immigrants, and victims of domestic violence to increase access to justice through advocacy education and legal aid.
Programs: Our largest program provides legal services for low to moderate income individuals who may not qualify for legal aid nor afford a private attorney. This year we served 343 people; 15% served on a pro bono basis for clients often living paycheck to paycheck it may be the difference between access to justice or injustice.
our outreach program provided information sessions and supported 6 community legal clinics throughout the year in conjunction with other local non-profits.
