Causes: Arts & Culture, Performing Arts
Mission: Open Space Arts illuminates contemporary and historical issues through film and live performances. OSA will perform where the arts can have the most impact. With the freedom to perform anywhere, from libraries, theaters, empty storefronts, and online, OSA can respond quickly to bring important issues to life.
Results: Programs have included THE KRAMER PROJECT, performed as a benefit for Center on Halsted in July 2022. The Pride Film Fest starts year round streaming of new international queer films in October 2022. Our new play contest for screenplays and scripts about contemporary issues will conclude with staged readings in January 2023.
