Online Angels

I sent an entire box of crocheted winter hats and mittens to them and never heard back, despite numerous emails. Checking their website further it hasn’t been updated in years, but why is it still active? Also the link to their Facebook doesn’t work. If they are no longer an active charity they should take their website down. My box of donations went somewhere, but there has been NO reply. I think they are a bunch of scammers. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYTHING!!!

I have been with Online Angels for several years. They are a very friendly group who want to use their God given talents to help others. I crochet and was very happy to find a place who would find just the right place for each of the items I make. I especially like the fact that there are no strict rules on having to send in items by a certain time. Life can be so full of challenges and being able to work with a charity when you have the opportunity is such a blessing. I have donated many items and have also been the recipient of the love this group shares. This is truly a loving place where everyone is welcome and anyone can be helped. I would highly recommend this group to anyone who crafts or just wants a place to belong and know that their efforts to help others is appreciated.

I have been a volunteer for Online Angels for ten years now, and have found it to be a group that helps those helping as well as those helped. By directing handmade items to the places that need them OA helps warms those who are cold, clothes babies, and tries to comfort those grieving. But the crafters who donate their time, supplies and skill also are blessed by belonging to this wonderful group. One of the group mottos is "the power of one." Each single item made is one more person helped. I'm proud to be a volunteer for Online Angels.

I've been with Online Angels for many years. Sometimes I don't make a lot, sometimes I do, but no matter how little I make, or how much I make, it doesn't seem to matter, they love the volunteer either way. There's been many times in my life that the only thing that seemed to make my heart sing was when I was making something for this group. How proud I am to be an Online Angel!

I have been a member of Online Angels for some time now , I love to crochet squares and hats, and do crosses and angels from plastic canvas ,doing good search. I love when its christmas time how we get together send Christmas cards to each other . And OA HAS GAVE ME SUPPORT WHEN I WAS DONE AND AT MY DARKNESS like when my son died in 2009 and now when my mother just past 3 months ago. OA is a wonderful group and I glad I AM APART OF IT.

I am proud to be an Online Angel Volunteer whether it is donating money to making squares to doing GoodSearch. Online Angels gave Loveghans to my Aunt Lu, My Son, Stephin, Myself, and Lisa Meister when we all were going through troubled times. My Aunt Lu has since passed away on October 6, 2006, May she rest in Peace. I enjoy being apart of Online Angels.

I love Online Angels. They are my favorite charity.

As a donor, I love them because they can find someone who needs anything I have to donate. If I want to make slippers, they give them to elderly in nursing homes or wounded heroes in hospitals. If I want to make baby hats or blankets, they go to newborns. If I want to donate pencils, paper, or new school clothes, they go to needy children starting the school year. I can donate stuffed animals and they go in stockings to needy children at Christmas time. If I have pop tabs from soda cans, cancelled stamps, or Boxtops for Education, they have a place to send them. Even my gently used clothing sent in goes to victims of fires or floods!

When my mom died, Online Angels sent me a Care Box with a Loveghan in it, to wrap around my shoulders and remember that someone cares about me. It was wonderful.

I recommend Online Angels to anyone who wants a quality, valuable charity to support.

I've been a volunteer for a few years. I enjoy crocheting and other crafts and it's a great way to share with others. Last year when my Dad passed away, I found out what it's like to receive a box from OA. Words can not describe the warmth and love I felt. Each time I use the afghan or look at the angels or bookmark I'm reminded of what a warm and caring group of people OA is.

I'm glad I'm a part of this group and hope to be for a long time.

I have been with Online Angels for quite a few years. It is a wonderful organization. It is wonderful that we are able to help others.

Online angels is great. I have been a member for several years, and I knit. This is a warm hearted group that cares for its members, and will do anything to help anyone. Even if you have a family member that is having surgery this group will send a box to that family member. I know I have requested a box for a family member and they really enjoyed it. Online angels rock!!

I enjoy knitting and crocheting and this is a great way to share the items that I love to make. It makes me feel good to be able to help others and just knowing that something as small as a hat can help someone stay a little warmer is a great feeling. The founders and volunteers are a great group of people, even though I don't know any of them personally, they all seem like good friends, they are there to encourage you and also to cheer you during difficult times.

I love to make crocheted items and Online Angels has a place for anything I make. They send to people who really need some help. Crocheting is my sanity at the end of each day. But my friends and family can only receive some many gifts. So I feel great making what I do and knowing there is someone out there that can use it and will appreciate it. It feels good to belong to a group of very caring people. They make you feel welcome and loved.

SO I CALLED MARY REINHART AND I JOINED AND IM SO GLAD I DID CAUSE TO ME THIS HELPS SO MANY PEOPLE. AND I HAVE LEARNED SO MUCH AND ALSO FOUND NEW FREINDS FROM ALL OVER AND ITS A WONDERFUL PLACE TO BE. I found Online Angels when I was searching for a place to give my handmade items to. My family had been recipients for years and it was time to give elsewhere. Online Angels was perfect as there isn't a limit to who we give to. I feel the group is a kind of "pay it forward" group as well as a group helping others. One of our mottos is Power of One. That says a lot. Sharing even just a hat, slippers or simple words of caring can make such a difference in someone's life. They say a smile goes a long way and I hope to continue to make someone, somewhere SMILE. That's what Online Angels is!

I was an avid crafter when I retired, but my family and friends had enough of everything that I enjoyed making. Online Angels was my salvation. They accept everything and anything I care to sew, crochet knit or buy. As a group they are caring, helpful, and supportive through their donations to the needs of others. Anyone that is lonely, had a loss of loved ones, is emotionally in need of a friend, needs school supplies, help with meals or an uplifting prayer of support, they can find it here. At Christmas they are there for children and seniors alike. Hospitals and senior centers as well as shelters benefit from their caring gifts. It is an honor to be part of this organization and hopefully I will be able to continue to aid them in their efforts to help others.
As for myself, I received a love box from them when I had surgery on my knees. A family member was a recipient of a box when he had cancer and a close neighbor 's family received a box when they lost their dad to cancer. There is no way to describe the comfort that we all received . Just to know that others shared our pain and grief helped us to get through this trying time. So many people coming together to help support and console complete strangers. What a blessing!

I have been a PROUD member of Online Angels for about 10 years now...found this loving and caring group through a search as I was looking for somewhere to send the items that I crochet. I found my home with these Angels...as they make you feel a part of their family. This group is led by the most compassionate and loving couple that you would ever want to meet...
So if you are looking for a place to send contributions to help this family of Angels or to send crocheted items...knitted items...anything that you make...sewed items...food to help those in need...clothing for those in need...Online Angels is the place...as our leaders and founders of this wonderful organization will find a home or person or hospital or nursing home for every item send in.
I love this group of Angels...we are family...and I hope and pray that I will be around for a long time to help in anyway that is needed.
When anyone is in need of a {{HUG}} or a prayer...the Angels respond in such a way that you know that all of their prayers have been heard.

I found this site through another craft group. I needed something to help me with some depression and helping others made me feel better about myself. They help so many people. I wish I could do more.

I have been with Online Angels from almost the beginning of their existence. I love helping others and OA gives me that opportunity to help in many areas. This group is such a blessing to members as well as those who receive a box from OA. I am proud to be a member and intend to be for a very long time.

I have been a member of Online Angels since 2006. I was feeling the need to help others and searched the internet looking to see what groups were out there and what I could do. When I came across OA, before even joining, I knew in my heart that this was the place I belonged. I love the feeling of "family" we have there, each person truly caring about each other and those they help. The ladies make each and every item with love and care in their quest to reach out to those in need. Mary and Royce, the group founders, do an amazing job running the group. I will never have a clue how they do it all but it is with hearts of gold. They live and breathe OA :) My life has been changed in more ways than I can express since joining this group. I wish I'd found it earlier but I think we find things just at the right time in our lives, are led to it. I look forward to many, many more years here!

Online Angels gives meaning to my life and a way to use a craft like crochet that I enjoy so very much to benefit others. I have always enjoyed helping others and through Online Angels, working together with others we can help so many more in need. Knowing that the baby afghans, sqs for other afghans, hats, scarfs and other things I enjoy making will maybe brighten someones day and let them know their not alone and also keep them warm and comfortable mean everything to me. It's my way to give back when so much has been given to me.

I have been a member of Online Angels (OA) for about 6 years or so. I cannot remember my life without them. The people that make up OA are the most loving, supportive people that you could ever meet. Over the past years, I have had my share of ups and downs including 2 babies, a house fire and most recently my mother's passing. OA has always been there whether to drop me an email, a card or a box of love. I learned to crochet when I was a little girl and since I became a stay at home mom, I have more time to devote to my lost love of crochet. My husband of 17 years was getting tired of the blankets, hats, etc all over the house. I found OA and found my new family. I love OA and hope that I will never ever have to leave this wonderfully special group.

When I first came across Online Angels, it was right after by brother, Michael, passed away. He was 49 years old and died of liver cancer. I told the Online Angels how sad my sister-in-law was. She and Michael, and their daughter Jenna, had moved to Florida and they bought a house just a year earlier. Paula couldn't sell the house because the market was so bad. And she would never make enough to move back to MA. where all of her family is. She was so sad and alone. Online Angels sent her a box right away! It was filled with Love and an afghan, and a whole bunch of little things which delighted them! Can you imagine? I never met these ladies before ane they did such a kind thing! I have been a member ever since. And I crochet those squares now, because those Angels were so nice to my sister-in-law, when she was so down. I love this group!

I have been a member of Online Angels since 2006, and it has changed my life. I've always loved to make craft items, and crocheting is my favorite hobby. For many years I had been praying about my purpose in life, and how I could use my talents to help others. One day I stumbled upon information about Online Angels, and I joined the group. Online Angels has been part of my daily life ever since. I now feel so much better about myself, knowing how much I can make a difference by giving a little of my time every day. Not only by giving, but by being a part of this wonderful group of caring volunteers - I feel like I have a new family in addition to the one I have at home. This awesome group make me feel truly blessed in many ways.

This is a wonderful family to me. It gave me something to feel good about when I was down and out and I look forward to getting on my computer each day to see what each person has posted and what they are working on. I hope to be a member for years to come.

Words cannot describe how much this group means to me and my family. The group sends backpacks, supplies and clothing to families in need. Also Christmas gifts and clothing for families in need. It is heart warming to read the thank you's we get. When my daughter and her family were in a tough bind and I couldn't help anymore, this group sent food, cleaning and health and beauty items to help get them through.

I am not only a volunteer for Online Angels I am a recipient of one of their Love Boxes. My Mum passed away on October 31st 2009, and when I told Mary I would be away from the group for a few days she sent me a Lovebox. Inside was a lapghan, some crosses and bookmarks. When I feel down thinkijng about my Mum I put the ghan over my legs and feel the love of the Angels helping me through. That's exactly what it feels like, because you know that no matter what happens, you have 200+ Angels right beside you. Knowing that is some way you have contributed to that feeling in other people is what makes you carry on. Online Angels is more like a family than an online group of people. I love the group and hope I can be around and help where needed for a long time to come

i have been a poud member of this group for some time. i crochet/knit,donate nion perishable food,clothes. this is my family. they are always there for any one in need with love,compassion,hand made items.store bought,food.being able to work with this wonderful group has helped me deal wsith several health issues.i never knew there were people out there that did all the things this group does for so many. i thank GOD for this group and those associated with it.

I thought this was going to be another "small-town" group when I found them on Yahoo. Boy, was I surprised! They are very active, very involved, and very caring. They have reached out to a needy family in my hometown, as well as my mother. The items in the "love-ghan" box for Mother was timely...just what she needed in her grief. The other family (with 2 small sons) was touched also. From the least to the greatest item in the box was exactly what each needed. How, exactly, can I express how each toy, bookmark, what have you, has touched the lives of family, and extended family. The notes included even made ME cry when the families read them to me. The care, devotion, and dedication is obvious. We are complete strangers to them, but they have created a warm spot in our lives. May God bless them...and you...in allthings, always.
