Mission: It is the highest academic honor in the field of foreign languages. Phi Sigma Iota has initiated over 50,000 members since its foundation in 1917, and it has created and supports numerous scholarship programs. It promotes international communication and understanding, fosters the spirit of liberal culture, and stands for freedom of mind and democracy of learning. Within PSI, excellence is not only a goal but an attitude as well.
Programs: Members are eligible to participate in programs organized or sponsored by the Society such as: Scholarships, Grants, Fellowships, Trips Abroad, Books, Insurance and Credit Cards.
