Mission: Oakland military institute is a charter school whose mission is to provide a structured & rigorous academic program where all cadets develop as leaders, scholars, critical thinkers and citizens.
Programs: Okland military institute provides academic instructions to students in the 6th through 12th grades. The curriculum includes intensive instruction in math, language arts, social studies, science, physical education and art. In addition, students participate in drill and ceremony and leadership training provided by the california national guard.
