I have been a member of the NYC veterans alliance Foundation for a few years. it is a great organization to be part of the staff as other veterans I have met alot and are caring people. I have learned from organization of doing story telling and taking on more challenging roles things I never thought i would be able to accomplish. I am a pround member of NYC veterans Alliance Foundation Inc.
I have been participating with multiple events with this organization and have only positive things to say. These events have given me the chance to meet so many wonderful people and other organizations who are dedicated in serving veterans. This organization has made me feel so appreciated and cared for. The staff have been courteous and compassionate. One of my favorite events was Speak Up and Rise which allows people to share their stories in a safe and supportive environment.

Veteran’s Alliance is a hub of support and resources, a must for all vets in the NYC area. Whether you need housing, transportation or career assistance, or emotional support (including artistic events) the Alliance has you covered.
As a military family member and life-long New Yorker, I am an avid supporter of the amazing work being done by the NYC Veterans Alliance. I believe the NYC Veterans Alliance's mission and work can be a model for the nation; advocating and organizing at the local level is so critical in order to make real change. I've volunteered at multiple events since the organization's founding and continue to meet incredible service members and supporters of this important mission.
I have attended a number of NYC veterans alliance events. NYVA events are always well organized, fun , informative and most importantly give me the opportunity to meet and support our veterans. There is always a large cross section of both veterans and non-veterans at NYVA events and I always leave with a better understanding of the issues facing our vets, action steps I can take to support our veterans, and a renewed appreciation for the work of NYVA and the veterans who have served our country.
