Mission: Newspapers for Knowledge, Inc. started in 1992 as the Newspapers in Education program which has grown tremendously out of the need for educators to supplement textbooks in order to teach the basic core subject areas. With budget cuts across school systems, newspapers are in high demand for curriculum use. Additional materials are provided to schools through newspaper programs at no charge. Our goal is to meet the needs of teachers in our 14 county area, increase literacy, and contribute to the education of our youth and community.
