Programs: Grant program: the new hampshire charitable foundation is the state's largest provider of grants to nonprofits and scholarships to local residents. In 2016, that included almost $33 million in grants and program initiatives, including grants to approximately 1,685 nonprofit organizations. Grants made reflect the widest range of the philanthropic imagination, including focused support in six areas: health & well-being, education, environment, arts & culture, civic engagement and economy. More than 1,600 scholarships totaling $5. 4 million were awarded to students pursuing a wide range of educational opportunities, including traditional colleges and universities, technical training and certificate programs, as well as programs that prepare students to enter the 21st century workforce.
