Causes: Disaster Aid, Search & Rescue Squads
Mission: To actively answer emergency calls, provide ambulance service, render aid to the sick, injured or disabled, relieve paid and suffering and save life with the dedication to assist anyone, anytime, anywhere, being the sole provider of basic life support and emergency medical care to the residents of the borough of nesquehoning.
Programs: Provides cpr, basic first aid, and programs to community. Provide training to fire department and prescreening to allow fire department to obtain base line vitals, lift assists of elderly or handicapped citizens who have fallen and are unable to get up. Provide support services to community for races, footballl games, triathalon, bike races and parades. Co-sponsor nesquehoning hose co for annual santa claus visits, gifts of stockings filled with candy and coloring books to spread cheer and goodwill throughout the community.
