Mission: The mission of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is to end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis.
Programs: 1. Information and Referral services as well as counseling, support services, financial assistance and durable equipment to persons with multiple sclerosis;2. Health and Wellness programs including exercise and aquatics. 3. Over 28 support groups in all five counties, particularly for the newly diagnosed.4. Professional education & training to improve the knowledge and skills of health care professionals in the treatment of MS.5. Public awareness programs through publications (MS Connection) and brochures.6. Community outreach to support and work with other organizations to help clients maintain their independence to the greatest possible extent.
