Mission: The organization exists to fight bias, bigotry and racism and to promote respect and understanding among all races, religions, and cultures through education, conflict resolution, and advocacy, as well as to promote community service for youth and adults.
Programs: The organization hosts a bi-annual brotherhood and sisterhood awards dinner in march of alternating years. The purpose of the dinner is to raise funds for camp anytown, a project started by the organization in 1989 and now managed by the ywca of central alabama. Camp anytown is a summer camp that teaches high school students to be strong leaders and positive examples of a community that respects diversity of races, religions, and cultures. The dinner also recognizes individuals and graduates of camp anytown for their endeavors to promote tolerance, social justice, and respect of diversity.
