I first got involved with My Neighbor's Children and their feeding program No Child Hungry through the church I was going to while in college. I volunteered at No Child Hungry events and the energy and the enthusiasm of the groups packing meals made me want to continue to do more with them. At the end of that year, I ended up going to Haiti to help on My Neighbor's Children and Florida Hospital, now Advent Health, medical trip to provide health care to over 100 children in Haiti. My Neighbor's Children is focused on providing basic living, health, and education to children in need and it was an amazing experience to be apart of seeing that mission firsthand.
