Mission: Our Mission: To Serve Individuals with Multiple Sclerosis Through their Lives: The mission of the Multiple Sclerosis Service Society (MSSS) is to provide assistance to those diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis through a variety of rehabilitative services. It is our goal is to help the general public and families of victims to better understand Multiple Sclerosis and the problems associated with the disease. The MSSS has been serving clients with Multiple Sclerosis since 1952.
Programs: The Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Center (MSTC) provides a comprehensive program designed to meet the changing rehabilitation needs of the MS population in Southwest Pennsylvania. The program is designed to provide a holistic approach to rehabilitation services. A multidisciplinary team of professionals develops a care plan that addresses individual needs. The MSTC offers occupational, speech, recreational, and physical therapy and nursing services. The Multiple Sclerosis Service Society also offers a home continuing care program, psychosocial program, and provides medical equipment and supplies.
