Mission: The Athenaeum of Ohio is the graduate school of theology sponsored by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, and consists of three divisions: Mount St. Mary's Seminary of the West, the Lay Pastoral Ministry Program, and the Special Studies Division. We are fully accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and by the Association of Theological Schools. Founded in 1829, the Athenaeum of Ohio continues its proud tradition of providing quality programs of training and formation for those preparing to serve the Church and community through a variety of pastoral ministries.
