Mission: Mission Road Ministries, a family of agencies, is a community-based, church sponsored organization with a Call from God to minister to persons with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities by challenging them to achieve their full potential for independence, productivity and inclusion in the community.
Target demographics: Mission Road Ministries serves children and adults with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities with with residential, day services and vocational programs throughout San Antonio, Texas. Mission Road is called to realize the full potential for independence, productivity and inclusion in the community for our clients. Founded in 1947, Mission Road is one of two non-profit organizations in Texas caring for children with mental retardation who have been removed from their family by Child Protective Services because of neglect and abuse.

Programs: Mission road ministries provides the administrative support to mission road developmental center, unicorn centers, inc, and three hud subsidized apartments that enables them to eliminate redundant costs that each may incur if operating independently and allow them to offer quality care and training to the individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities that they serve.
