affiliate services assists michigan department of health and human services (mdhhs) in reaching their public health goals by augmenting their efforts in program delivery, human resources, budget and contract support. Affiliate services utilize augmentation as a strategy to staff projects and respond to business objectives in partnership with mdhhs. Affiliate services contributions fill skill gaps and extend capacity as needed in support of state of michigan managers.
the center for data management & translational research (cdmtr) is dedicated to working with partners to collect, analyze, and use data and information for health system and population health improvement. The team comprised of evaluators, researchers, statisticians, and health information specialists is capable of designing a project from start to finish, or contribute specific roles. Center expertise includes grant writing, evaluation design, survey research, focus groups, using large administrative data sets, geographic information systems, data visualization, analysis, and provision of technical assistance. The work of the center is interdisciplinary and intersectoral - grounded in the understanding that health and well-being are products of interacting social systems, community collaboration, policy, economics, relationships, and behaviors.
