Causes: Community Mental Health Centers, Mental Health
Mission: Mhc exists to engage, enlighten and empower individuals and families with behavioral health issues to live healthier lives. By providing integrated care for the whole person, everyone can experience hope and live a full life in the community.
Programs: Mental health cooperative, inc. (mhc) provides individuals, living at or below the poverty level, with access to mental health services through community-based care management and outreach services, mobile crisis response/emergency psychiatric services, psychotherapy, psychiatric clinic, primary care and clinical evaluation. Mhc delivers these services through an integrated care approach that focuses on both the behavioral health needs and the physical health needs of the individual. Mhc serves adults with severe mental illness and children with serious emotional challenges with locations across middle and east tennessee.
