Mission: As a public interest law firm and advocacy organizaiton that worked in communicaitons policy, media access project (map) promoted the public interest before the fcc and the us courts and fought for an open and diverse communications system, which protected freedom of expression, promoted universal and equitable access to media outlets and telecommunications services, and encouraged vibrant public discourse on critical issues facing our society.
