Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Congregate Meals, Food, Food Programs, Human Services, Meals on Wheels, Senior Centers, Seniors
Mission: Our meal supplies one third to one half of a senior adult's daily nutrition requirements. Seniors of all income levels are invited to enjoy our tasty meals, which include a salad, entré, starch, vegetable, bread, dessert and milk. Join us at any of our 28 meal locations in Multnomah, Washington and Clark counties. Meals-On-Wheels are available to homebound seniors.
Target demographics: alleviate hunger and loneliness among older adults.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 17,000 older adults in the greater Portland metro area
Geographic areas served: the greater Portland metro area
Programs: Meals on Wheels delivery of hot meals to homebound seniors and meals to seniors at 35 neighborhood dining centers in three counties.
