This amazing charity serves children who have been diagnosed with cancer in the Phoenix area. Named for a brave little girl, this organization provides "kenzie kases", suitcases loaded with toys that are designed to distract and comfort children who are going through cancer treatments. The case has portable DVD player with movies hand selected for the child's age and gender, electronic handheld game player and games along with a cozy blanket and other surprises that help entertain kids through the grueling hours receiving treatment as well as long hospital stays associated with this horrific disease. In addition, they sponsor toy rooms at local hospitals on oncology floors, so that children can come and play, and their parents can meet each other to offer support. The organization has very low overhead costs which is very important to me when donating to a charity! Wonderful organization that is dedicated to taking care of kids with cancer.
