The scorecard website is a real-time online legislative scorecard that identifies in a neutral and non-partisan manner, massachusetts lawmakers, their districts and voting record on key issues that deal with state transparency, taxes, spending and the budget. Massachusetts fiscal alliance also continues to develop an email list that includes several thousand members. In addition, we incorporated a "call to action" option that allows the public and our members to engage their lawmaker on key issues. Several web advertisements were developed to raise awareness about the scorecard that appear on google, facebook and several other websites. Direct mail, radio ads, door to door, and phone call advocacy campaigns. Massachusetts fiscal alliance promotes the scorecard and key votes through printed and circulated materials. Mailings to neighborhoodsmassachusetts fiscal alliance continues to fulfill its mission statement through direct mail advocacy campaigns. Massachusetts fiscal alliance sends mailing to cities and towns ranging from springfield to boston. The materials profiled specific lawmakers, their roll call votes, a description of each vote and our position on the vote or an update to state policy. The materials are intended to educate residents on how their lawmaker voted on the specific roll call votes we highlight and encourage the resident to contact their lawmaker. Each vote listed came before the general court in the past two years. Eventsmassachusetts fiscal alliance hosted several events with notable speakers that are open to the public and to their members. These events included legislative and current event topics that educated members and guests on key policy issues. Massachusetts fiscal alliance's representatives also spoke to a wide variety of groups across the state about economic issues affecting the commonwealth of massachusetts. Massachusetts fiscal alliance's key staff members have participated in dozens of speaking opportunities in addition to smaller gatherings with members of the public. These speaking engagements were proactively scheduled with the public and required substantial preparation and a significiant time commitment. Reserach and promotional materials were handed out, questions were answered and data was collected during the meetings.
