The most wonderful thing about MCN is that they are helping to train and recruit today's kids to become tomorrow's leaders and conservationists. They have said many times that every other breath we take comes from oxygen produced in the oceans, and I stand with them to help conserve and maintain the balance of life in the oceans. I think if the oceans die, we will be next in line. I don't want to see that happen, so I urge everyone to give them your support and donate whatever you can and learn how you can help. The work they do is vital and important for our planet.
"It has been a pleasure to be connected to the Marine Conservation Network. Kimberly, Founder and CEO, first reached out to The Marine Diaries on Facebook, and wanted to collaborate. I was really excited to be asked to do a video interview. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrH_ocXQ7LA&t=366s) It was actually one of the first video interviews I had done and since then I have been featured in webinars (including one with MCN), conferences, live discussions on social media, and spoken to schools and at in-person events. The first chat with MCN definitely helped me on this journey and I can't thank Kimberly enough."
"I’m a science and space writer in Colorado Springs, and I’d like to congratulate Kimberly Ray, Founder and CEO, for her efforts in education and conservation. She started with nothing but the desire to make a difference and has kept up the effort, often on a shoestring, for several years now. I didn’t know her when she was running we were Sustainable Seafood Experience (SSX), but met on Face Book after she’d started Marine Conservation Network (MCN). I was doing a paper on satellite tracking of whales at the time, and our interests coincided. She ran an article by me condensing the paper on her website. We later did a longer live interview, which went very well, and I was able to connect her to an orca scientist to help with her work. I especially applaud her international outreach, a rare thing for such a small organization to essay."
