My husband suffers from Macular Degeneration. He has lost the central vision in one eye; he has wet Macular Degeneration in the other eye, plus a hard cataract in this eye. Removing the hard cataract is risky because to do so might cause inflammation, and worsen the vision in this remaining eye. We have found this website to be INVALUABLE in furnishing information about developments and available therapies for his condition. From the information provided, I have questioned my husband's retina specialist about treatments. As a consequence,my husband is now receiving a different medication injected into the eye, which has been more effective. I cannot thank the Macular Degeneration and Ms. Judith Delgado enough.
