Mission: Believing in the presence of God, the value of human life and the dignity of the individual, the mission of Lutheran Homes of South Carolina, as a ministry of the church, is to promote the well-being of older adults by providing residential, healthcare and hospice services.
Programs: Continuing care retirement communitylutheran homes served 1,782 residents by providing 253 active lifestyle homes, duplexes and apartments, 152 independent living rental apartments, 227 assisted-living units, 81 assisted-living memory support units, 14 skilled nursing memory support beds and 302 skilled nursing beds. A grant program with its affiliated foundation subsidizes 56 residents who were unable to pay full charges or qualify for government assistance.
