Jacqui Caffey is a solid citizen whose kindness-of-heart always does her talking. Her efforts to help, nurture, guide and celebrate are not new, they have just become public and I applaud her initiative to help the true heroes of this country who fight battles we never see, keep us from an ever-dangerous enemy and provide albeit a momentary happiness for our heroes of the US Armed Forces.In this era where ego, greed & selfishness prevail, it is refreshing to find an oasis of love where the focus is pure servanthood of one's fellow human-being. They host Packing Parties to assemble and send packages to our Troops; share the mail tracker with you to follow the package; and then a few weeks later, you'll see pictures of the soldiers opening the packages...Awesome job!
Let me first start out with full disclosure and tell You that Jacqui Caffey, founder of Love One by One is also my wife. But I can also share with You the dedication, sacrifice and the enduring spirit of helping those in need that this cause is based on is unmatched. Love One by One taps into the basic need to take care of those who give their lives to serve All of us. Nothing can be more tragic than the soldier who has no family or support group, that is on the frontline defending the very freedom and security that a whole nation has taken for granted . Jacqui took it upon herself to start this foundation out of the garage and basement of our home, to collect articles of basic comfort and convenience and package individual care packages that can be sent to our single soldiers over in Iraq and Afghanistan. For those who do not have a family, the hundreds and hundreds of volunteers that donate, package and ship to our single men and women, make a statement that says " You are not alone and We appreciate what you do for our nation." Jacqui believed that most people want to make a difference in this world, and that most people want to have a "purpose " in Life that is bigger than our own. Well she has found that purpose and so has many others who have decided to NOT sit on the sidelines. Love 1 by 1 is not about one individual, it is about the collective efforts of many who contribute time, money and resources to make a difference in the lives of those who are making the ultimate sacrifices to be American. I am so proud of my wife and the many supporters who are doing what they can to make sure no one serving on the frontline of our military are doing so Alone.
I was introduced to this non-profit by its President, Jacqui Caffey. Her energy is contagious, and she really has a great passion for what she does, and that is really awesome! I donated to Love One By One through Razoo, and immediately got a tax receipt. Pretty cool! i will do more with them in the future.
