I love what this organization stands for and their approach includes various healing practices which are often missing in other programs. Unless the spiritual, mental, emotional as well as the physical aspects are addressed, long term well being of sex trafficked children cannot happen. I am so happy to support Maria Aparis and her diligent and faithful promotion of this program. This is a huge problem in our country and it affects all of us whether we are aware or not of its pervasiveness. Maria is doing a remarkable job in educating Americans and bringing this issue into the light where it can be seen and addressed..

Lotus Rising International does phenomenal work raising funds and procuring supplies for recently liberated children and young adults from the trafficking trade. Maria takes so much care in packing backpacks full of vital items needed for healing for these poor souls. Her love and willingness to do whatever is needed shines so brightly from her sweet being. These children/young adults are so vulnerable and she unconditionally offers love, guidance and support, financial as well as emotional. I wish there were more people willing to sticks their necks out like she so fearlessly does. LRI is definitely my favorite charity, I just wish I had more time to help them reach their goals of providing for this underserved group of people.

We have supported Lotus Rising International since they began their work. The issue of Child slavery in sex traficking is spread worldwide, within the US it is huge. Awareness and education of the public is needed. The movie "Sound of Freedom" has attempted to do this. The aftermath of the lives of sex trafficked children requires years of rehabilitation much like PTSD. Lotus Rising not only helps with rescues when they can, they also help with programs at safe houses directly with the children with teaching them skills to give them hope when their mental state is difficult. Backpacks filled with necessities are also distributed to safe houses since usually they are rescued with nothing more than what they are wearing. Help LTR continue!!

Having known the founder for years I trust the work this organization brings to the community, and to their international forces dedicated to end trafficking. Maria has an exceptional list of health and wellness certifications that empower her directions to truly meet a holistic approach to improving the recovery process and futures lives of impacted children who are rescued. This topic is uncomfortable and not glamorous, it takes a passionate individual to climb the mountain of opposition to make a stance and Maria, as a visionary and dedicated contributor, pioneers the volunteer forces to summit.

Lotus Rising International is an amazing organization that I have been involved with for about 4 years. The leadership and team are dedicated and passionate about ending child trafficking, finding innovative ways of working with the survivors to assist with their healing and supporting rescues all over the world. I have watched several of the online telethons over the last few years, and have great respect for this non profit's efforts to make others aware of the horrific problem called Child Trafficking. There seems to be a major disconnect in how much the general public understands how huge Child Trafficking actually is.

It is a wondefull goal that Lutus Rising International has, to bring awareness to the public, and eliminate this disgraceful global issue. I am so proud to support their efforts.

Slow and steady. Some organizations can’t get knocked over because they operate with a vision that is constant, fearless & empowered. Maria Aparis holds the vision of LRI with an integrity that many companies articulate but fail to act upon. Over the years I have witnessed the soul of LRI bloom-out of her personal drive. The work of educating the public is an ongoing creative pursuit. The messaging is in direct competition with every headline & digital feed. Yet, Maria continues to put one foot in front of the other, again, slow & steady, resulting in an unwavering commitment to these children who have been robbed of childhood. Then she shows up to provide the richest welcome into the world that betrayed them through her healing modalities, essential oils, breathing techniques, personal warmth & more. Maria has a contagious drive, and with that she does not lead LRI alone. She inspires many to be a helping hand through time, talent & treasure. I may never be privy to all the rescue stories or be able to follow the paper trail of funding-but one thing is certain: LRI is slow & steady, they will always be a presence in this pursuit to end child sex trafficking.

Lotus Rising International is a very committed nonprofit. Their mission and what they stand for is something that is personal to me, a cause I'm extremely interested in fighting for. I had the pleasure of working with them during a fundraiser, and not only are they the most genuine people I've ever met, but they are determined, empathetic, and ready to help women all over the world. That's why I've come back year after year to take part in their 24 hour fundraising event. They do whatever it takes and it is powerful!

The team behind LRI is such a highly heart centered, integral and passionate group that dedicates their service toward making a difference in these childrens lives. From the events and recovery programs through holistic services they are creating the possibility for these children to reclaim their lives in a massive way. Everyone has an opportunity to support in a big way through what LRI has to offer. I am blessed beyond words to share this experience with LRI and make an impact in these childrens lives and give these survivors hope and another chance at life.

A wonderful nonprofit! The programs they have for survivors is amazing! The yoga program for kids is great! What Lotus Rising is doing is full of heart. The dedication to end child trafficking globally is heartwarming to say the least.
