Mission: Lifespan is the only comprehensive agency in the community whose sole mission is to help older adults take on both the challenges and opportunities of longer life. We achieve this by providing a continuum of direct services, advocacy, guidance, professional training and community education.
Programs: Elder abuse prevention program - provide intervention services in monroe and nine other counties including genesee, livingston, ontario, orleans, seneca, schuyler, wayne, wyoming and yates. Clients served: 361
eldersource - provide information and guidance about eldercare/long-term care with linkage to services for older adults, in-home geriatric assessment, care management and caregiver consultation, and depression screening and counseling. Clients served: 12,880
aging resource center - provides meals 260 days a year, activities and education opportunities. Clients served: 2,050
