Life4Paws is an organization my husband and I were put in contact with through PetFinder. In hopes of adopting an at risk dog, we immediately fell in love with a tiny terrier who was suffering from a bevy of issues, the least of which was massive hairloss. Also in need of adoption was his equally precious brother and sister. We couldn't believe that an organization had brought in not one, but three, sickly pups. The expenses incurred for even one is great and to have the compassion for all three was incredible. We knew we wanted to meet these precious pups. After an extensive background process and in home interview, we were deemed safe candidates for adoption. We ended up adopting the two remaining pups from the abandoned litter. Life4Paws handled every aspect of the adoption, followed up with us at every stage, made sure we inoculated and neutered and checked up on their general health and well being. We could not have been more impressed with them as an organization or with them as people. They are extremely organized yet have not strayed from they mission. We are forever indebted to Life4Paws as they gave us the greatest gift we have ever received and saved the lives of so many incredible animals.

I don't have the time to be involved with Life4Paws daily function but as a board member I do see all the tireless work and efforts to save these wonderful animals and to make the public aware of their responsibility towards animals and others. As a completely non-profit and 100% volunteer organization they have rescued, gave medical attention, rehabilitated and placed in forever homes thousands of dogs in the almost 12 years of their existence. Thank you to all the volunteers for all you do.
We adopted our amazing Lulu from Life4Paws 4+ years ago. Our experience with them during that process was very impressive. Since then, I've volunteered with other dog rescue groups and while I am grateful for all of the work towards this cause, I have noticed a remarkable difference with the Life4Paws group. They are well organized, thorough, kind and compassionate - I confidently refer friends and professionals to them. I also recently offered to volunteer with them because of their outstanding efforts, they are one of The Best.
Life4Paws is the most amazing non-profit organIzation I have ever encountered. They work tirelessly to save as many dogs' lives as possible. Every Sunday volunteers from all backgrounds join together and work cohesively under this amazing cause.
This is the best rescue I know of. We adopted a dog from them and we are so happy with everything they did for us. Life4Paws is run by a very caring and dedicated lady who treats her volunteers with kindness and appreciation. Please choose them they need your help and do such wonderful work.
I think they do a wonderful service for our furry friends and they are very dedicated to loving animals and saving lives.
When I was looking for a dog rescue group to volunteer for, I found Life 4 Paws to be the only one in my area who actually shows their dogs in "person" at Petsmart in Canoga Park every Sunday, other rescues only did theirs at specific locations where people had to go to see the dogs available or on the Internet. Life 4 Paws has rescued many dogs from hoarding situations, owner surrenders or rescued from shelters, sometimes on the day they were to be euthanized! They have been rescuing dogs for over 10 years. I adopted my chihuahua from them and then decided to volunteer with this group. Everyone works very hard to find dogs good homes, with reviewing the applications submitted to home checks. Life 4 Paws is the BEST!!!
