Mission: Levindale is a geriatric center and hospital dedicated to providing superior service in a cost effective manner for the aged, frail and ill in institutional, community and home settings. As an advocate for the elderly, levindale accepts a leadership role in defining and developing, in collaboration with other agencies, a comprehensive continuum of nursing, medical, and social services within the jewish community of the baltimore metropolitan area. Programs are operated within the values inherent in judaism pursuant to levindale's charter.
Programs: Levindale operates a 120 bed chronic hospital. Levindale provides specialty long-stay hospital service, rehabilitation care and behavioral health care. Levindale's mission is to provide to the community quality medical healthcare regardless of race, creed, sex, national origin, age or ability to pay. Levindale hebrew geriatric center and hospital provided 35,807 inpatient days: 6,881 in the chronic unit, 1,970 in the rehabilitation unit and 26,956 in the behavioral health unit.
levindale operates a 210 bed nursing facility including a 60 bed sub-acute unit. Levindale hebrew geriatric center and hospital's nursing facility provided 54,723 patient days in addition to 19,173 in the skilled nursing facility.

Levindale has provided 16,788 days in its adult day care program. The partial hospitalization program had 2,334 days. Other program service expenses include cafeteria for residents, visitors and staff, as well as transportation for the elderly to programs run by levindale.
