Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Children & Youth, Family Services for Adolescent Parents, Homeless & Housing, Homeless Centers, Human Services, Single Parent Agencies, Youth Community Service Clubs
Mission: We help through education, encouragement, motivation and support. LHD empowers and educate youth to express themselves through artistic outlets and program mentoring. We strive to establish healthy relationships built on trust and open communication.
Target demographics: disadvantage families and children
Direct beneficiaries per year: 184 students with school supplies, 16 couples with via our Marriage Ministry, and we servered over 1700 meals to underprivileged families and individuals
Geographic areas served: the Greater Charlotte Area (Charlotte, NC).
Programs: weekly food drives, clothing and toiletry drives, and financial and spiritual counselling.
