They treat their animals like kings and queens. It's a good place to visit for some farm animal "therapy". The animals are adorable and sweet
Very educational and well run farm sanctuary. Impressive knowledgeable staff make tours memorable. The animals are healthy and very loved and cared for.
Screw Disney world, THIS is the happiest place in the world. The animals are so happy, Logan and her crew care so much about each resident. The tours are very educational and you get to give belly rubs to pigs, what could possibly be better? Love them.
Kindred Spirits is a beautiful property run by the most dedicated, warm, loving people in the universe! We have been going there (old and new locations) for over six years, since our little one was three. It is our happy place and we look forward to staying in the guest apartment (KSS is 4 hours from our home!). I can't think of a better place to introduce others to compassion and justice in action. If you are ANYWHERE NEAR Ocala, we urge you to visit. You won't be disappointed!
Thank you for opening your sanctuary for a field trip experience for all the kids who attend summer camp programs at Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando! You provide them with a fun and educational day! Thank you for all the hard work that you do rescuing and rehabilitating animals who need a home, safety and TLC.
Absolutely loved our visit here! The tour was really informative and enjoyable! They really care!!! Absolutely inspiring!
A beautiful place with equally-beautiful residents. Run by kind folks with a noble cause. I look forward to returning!
I went there a few years ago. She was so nice and watching her with the animals was amazing. You can tell she loves them and they love her.
These are some of the most awesome people I have met. They are sincerely, whole heartedly, dedicated to helping these animals and will do what ever is needed to make sure they do. I love their energy, spirit, humor and their passion. I tell everyone I know about them and help out whenever possible. They are doing great things and lots of plans for more..
I attended a Thanksgiving Vegan potluck at this wonderful Sanctuary. It could have not been a more perfect day shared with likeminded strangers who all believe in Compassion over cruelty. The Sanctuary is beautiful and the animals are very well cared for . I loved walking around and visiting with all of them. The owners were very kind to have us all there on their holiday and allowed us to share it with their beautiful animals. Thank you so much
Went to vegan potluck for my birthday , such a lovely caring place and so many animals get to live out the rest of their life peacefully without fear
Kindred Spirits Sanctuary does an amazing job of rescuing and caring for farm animals that have come from various difficult situations. Everyone on the KSS team works hard to ensure their residents live the best life possible. Along with this care they provide education on the dark side of animal agriculture and they also provide a place for like minded individuals to gather and share time and space with these wonderful animals. As if they didn’t already have enough to do, KSS helps provide veterinarian care for other sanctuaries. Logan, Tony, Michelle and the rest of the staff are animal heroes.
The organization I run holds a crowdfunder to sponsor an animal at Kindred Spirits Sanctuary each year because they are honestly the best there is. Logan really loves her animals and gives them the best possible care. I'm incredibly impressed by her efforts, especially her vet tech training that allows her to be a part of surgeries her animals need. That's how much she loves her animals. She is committed to give them anything and everything they need. Best of all, Logan always is kind and welcoming to her staff, volunteers, and supporters. I'm very happy to support Kindred Spirits Sanctuary any way I can.
My neighbor had a 3 month old blind goat, and they didn't take care of it correctly. My sister, Victoria, wanted him, but it took them about a month to finally let my sister have him. She took him straight to the vet who told her he would not have lived if she had not brought him right in. My sister took such good care of him and he loved her. She named him Homer. My sister had developed breast cancer and got to the point to where she couldn't care for Homer like she had been. I went on the internet to find someone or some place to take Homer. It took a bit of sending emails, making calls, etc. I finally found Kindred Spirits and they were awesome. There was no way my sister could afford to take Homer to them so they came to her! All the way from Florida to Kentucky. At no cost to my sister. They were so nice and promised to keep my sister informed on how Homer was doing-and they did. After a few years Homer became very sick and had to be put to sleep. We will never forget him or The wonderful people who care so much for animals at Kindred Spirits.

The people here truly care about the ones they set out to help! The money goes straight to caring for the animals and ensuring they are safe and loved. Always a great experience seeing their operation! The residents are always healthy and happy!
Such a wonderful place filled with happiness, and eager to share all their animals stories. They also take super fun pictures of these fur friends, you can tell from the photos how much trust and love the animals have for the people who volunteer here.
Kindred Spirits does amazing work. Their team is kind, and they put their non-human residents first, making sure the animals are comfortable on tours. These animals are clearly well cared for and loved. I felt very welcomed and appreciated as a guest coming to tour. Big thumbs up!
Absolutely a fantastic, beautiful, love filled place. A must visit if you have a kind heart and also for anyone open to going vegetarian or vegan. I truly enjoyed my visit with these animal souls and friendly staff. Please visit and support and perhaps change your ways as I did after my visit.
You can tell that everything revolves around the animals at Kindred. How wonderful and fortunate to have such a dedicated team devoted to nurturing these deserving souls.
I love how committed they are to the residents of Kindred Spirits! There's no mistaking what's top priority and it's the animals. I loved the tour, learning about the personalities of everyone. The work day was great, very efficient, and I felt I made a difference. The lunch they gave us was awesome! I have a lot of respect for KSS and they have big dreams that I know they will make come true.
I can’t say enough about this farm sanctuary or the people who have sacrificed so much to help the animals. They are truly doing God’s work and have grown exponentially in the past few years and always attract a devoted crowd for their events. We came here before we had kids and have since brought our kids to experience it as well and they always ask to go back.
I volunteered here with the Animal Law section of the Florida Bar and brought my kids. It truly is an amazing educational experience for all ages. I am now the President of the SALDF chapter and FAMU law and have already planned our return visit!
Kindred Spirits exemplies everything great about a farm animal sanctuary. The animal care provided is the best in the nation, and the staff are well-trained, passionate, and dedicated.
I’ve attended some of the events hosted at kindred spirits and have always had such a great time and have learned a great deal! The staff is so very knowledgeable and helpful and you can tell they all really are passionate about what they do and really do love and respect the animals!
A wonderful experience, it was a lot of fun and heart warming to see these animals being able to live a peaceful life. When you visit this place you see these animals up close and in a much different light. It is great great work what this Sactuary does, we need more like them! :)
I have been to this sanctuary multiple times and the only thing I wish is that I lived closer so I could visit more often. It is a rare gem that allows me to forget my troubles and find a sense of peace. The animals are so sweet and the owners are amazing!
Kindred Spirits is an amazing place. The tour we took was incredible. Seeing all of the love and care that each and every animal receive is such a gift. Their dedication to caring for the animals and education is unsurpassed! Thank you so much Kindred Spirits for all that you do!
I've participated in 4 work parties and attended 3 other events at Kindred Spirits. Kindred Spirits is a wonderful place. The animals are well cared for. I highly recommend volunteering or going for a tour. I plan to go back many times.
Kindred Spirits is an amazing place run by such wonderful people! I had the pleasure of attending one of their events and have volunteered at one of the work days. I hope to volunteer more.
My son and I have volunteered a few times and will go back. We met some wonderful people there, and the animals are loved and cared for. The volunteers are also treated well!!
We met the amazing people from Kindred Spurits at a local Veg Fest, and the following week made arrangements to visit. My children were able to connect with the residents as individuals and begin to understand that we are much more similar to the animals than society tells us we are. This place does so much wonderful work, and is one of the few places where you truly can feel that they are only motivated by their mission of compassion and love. Supporting this organization helps you to feel that you are honestly making a difference in making the world a kinder place.
Kindred Spirits Sanctuary is one of the most inspirational places that I have ever been to. Learning about the lives of all the non-human animals at the sanctuary and getting to meet each one is truly inspirational to someone like myself who loves animals. Not only does the sanctuary provide animals in need with a home to live out the rest of their lives in peace, but it provides a platform where humans can actually reflect and take into consideration how their actions affect these amazing beings, which we normally do not get to interact with in a positive way. Apart from meeting the residents and giving them sweet treats, my favorite part was actually getting to volunteer at a "work party." I also enjoyed seeing my young niece's eyes and mind light up after being taken on the tour by the very friendly and knowledgeable caretaker, Logan. This place is truly a gem for the rescued animals, as well as, for the lucky adults and children that get to visit. I would definitely recommend that if you are in the area, you schedule a visit or join a volunteer work party at KSS. Every visit is a different and life-changing experience.
I have visited the farm just for a tour and loved it SO much I go back regularly for "Work Parties" there.
It's a peaceful, lovely sanctuary inhabited by some wonderful cow, pig, chicken, turkey, goat, horse, sheep and donkey friends lucky enough to be rescued so they can teach visitors about their kind...The sanctuary takes into consideration what is best for them. I love their Facebook page where you can see the daily goings on at the sanctuary and appreciate its lovely residents...
Logan, the farm manager is very friendly and a fountain of knowledge about the animals stories, health, personalities, etc...
Kindred Spirits is a very special place...I could not love it more...
