Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Children & Youth, Crime & Law, Crime Prevention, Fairs, Recreational Clubs, Sports, Youth Development Programs
Mission: We are working side by side with community leaders and volunteers by providing the equipment and assistance to help make their outreach events successful.
Results: Successfully organized National Night Out events in Suffolk since 2010, growing from 75 people to approximately 4,500 in attendance. Over 15 years of organizing other events and activities for people of all ages in our neighborhoods and churches and connecting local organizations, schools, and law enforcement to bring neighborly kindness back.
Target demographics: Underserved neighbhorhoods
Direct beneficiaries per year: This is our first year but last year we helped host the NNO Obici event and had over 2,500 local residence there.
Geographic areas served: Suffolk Virginia and nearby communities
Programs: Block parties, movie nights, music, health and fitness, educational, and STEAM activities.
