Mission: Formerly the National Senior Citizens Law Center, since 1972 we've worked for access to affordable health care and economic security for older adults with limited resources, focusing especially on populations that have traditionally lacked legal protection such as women, people of color, LGBT individuals, and people with limited English proficiency.
Geographic areas served: We are a national organization with offices in Washington DC, Los Angeles and Oakland, CA.
Programs: We fight senior poverty through targeted advocacy, litigation, and by training and providing resources to local advocates. We ensure access to the social safety net programs that poor seniors depend on, including Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and Supplemental Security Income (SSI).

Justice in Aging is uniquely effective in its advocacy on behalf of low income older adults nationwide. It has a history of success representing the interest of the most vulnerable elderly in the courts and in pressuring government agencies to acknowledge their rights to justice, economic security and affordbale health care.
