This charity has been working hard in our community since 2000. JBC, Inc. received numerous certificates and thank you letters, the Mayor's Choice Award and the NAACP Presidential Award for providing the basic needs of local and nearby seniors and families (and they still do - without outside funding or grants). Ongoing programs are: The JBC Mobile Food Pantry - delivering groceries to disabled adults and senior citizens; KidzKraft - working with summer camps/after school programs teaching children beginner jewelry making, sewing and recycling projects, collection and distribution of school supplies, toys and clothing (when available). The 501 status is suspended due to "outdated/expired" paperwork, but we know that poverty doesn't expire and is always "current". We won't allow "paperwork" to interfere with our mission to help people in need. The faithful few will continue their efforts to help anyone they can. Join us if you want to make a real difference. God Bless!
