I am honored to serve as a consultant for development and public relations for Journeys in Community Living. The stellar staff and superb leadership provide a caring, knowledgable and compassionate environment for our clients with disabilities. What a joy to see the interactions as our friends learn job and social skills! This community jewel provides a much-needed service for families who need the assistance and attention that JICL offers. I look forward to developing new community partners, an individual donor socieity, and brodening our coprorate and foundation relations support. We welcome you to get involved as a volunteer, a friend, and hopefully through your financial support to make life better for our friends.

I am currently serving as Executive Director for Journeys in Community Living. I have worked for this agency for over 30 years. I have remained with Journeys for all of this time because I believe in its mission wholeheartedly and I see on a daily basis the great work that is done by the very caring employees in all departments. Our mission is to support adults with disabilities in choosing and realizing their visions of how and where they live, work, and socialize. It is a very ambitious mission to attempt but so very rewarding when we see people get a job in the community, learn new skills in taking care of themselves, find homes where they are safe and comfortable, and make friends with others in the community. Journeys in Community Living is 100% dedicated to the folks we support - they always come first. Over the years we have had many wonderful successes in helping people with disabilities to achieve their goals. I look forward to more great things happening at Journeys and encourage everyone to get involved with our agency - through volunteering your time, getting to know our individuals, or contributing as you are able.
