Mission: Jeremiah House, founded in 1996, is a ministry formed to provide shelter and support services to homeless pregnant women. The services that we provide include education about the importance of prenatal care, childbirth education, infant care and nutrition education. We also provide assistance in resume writing and interviewing skills along with help in financial planning and computer training. Life-skills training involve meal planning/preparation, grocery shopping and rotation of chores. We focus on Bible studies that include making decisions, the financial responsibilities of single parenting, abstinence and parenting vs. adoption. Our goal is to provide shelter and support services to these women of single parent households. programs: The services that we provide at Jeremiah House include education on prenatal care, childbirth education, infant care, nutrition education and if needed, financial counseling and computer training. All of these sercvices are provided by volunteers.
