Mission: InvestED is committed to improving the quality of life among needy secondary students in communities throughout the state of Washington by supporting schools to encourage students to get to school, stay in school, and graduate.
Results: We have Funds in over 650 secondary schools in the State of Washington. These funds helped over 25,000 students last year with generally small personal and school expenses they could not pay. Our schools spent an average of $36.55 on the students, ranging from $2.50 for a wood-shop fee to over $500 to participate in the Science Olympiad (travel, housing, meals to compete with their school team). We celebrated our 50th anniversary a few years ago, and are still going strong!
