Mission: The international society for molecular plant-microbe interactions (is-mpmi) is comprised of members from more than 30 countries who research molecular aspects of microorganisms interacting with plants and the consequences of such interactions. Disciplines represented by is-mpmi members include microbiology, nematology, plant pathology, plant breeding, and others.
Programs: Congress meetings are held biennially, on even numbered years. The congress provides a forum for announcing and discussing the most innovative scientific discoveries elucidating the molecular events by which plants and microbes interact.
