Mission: Intermountain centers for human development provides out of home and home- based support services to a variety of at-risk populations including children and youth who are emotionally and behaviorally challenged, adults who have been diagnosed with serious mental illness, and individuals with developmental disabilities. The mission of intermountain centers for human development is to provide the highest quality, community-based, individualized services in the most cost-effective manner to at-risk populations.
Programs: The children's behavioral health program in southern arizona served children in group homes, therapeutic and regular foster homes, and by means of in-home services in family homes. The major achievement of this program is that it allows children and families to achieve the highest level of care (lowest cost to taxpayers and consumers) by maintaining children in their home and/or community and transitioning them through levels of care.
the adults' behavioral health program serves adults in a group home, semi-independent living apartments, therapeutic foster care homes, and in their own homes/community setting. This program allows seriously mentally ill people to live safely in the community at lower taxpayer cost.
the program for developmentally delayed children and adults serves consumers in group homes, child and adult developmental homes, and in a day treatment and training program.
intermountain academy: the intermountain academy's mission is to serve children with a primary educational diagnosis of autism in grades k-12. 65 students were enrolled in the academy. Intermountain summit program: the intermountain summit program serves adolescents with substance use disorder.
