Programs: Interfaith concert: an annual "celebration of the sacred in song, dance, and chant. " for more than 35 years, audiences have been inspired by the musical talents of choral groups, changers, bell choirs, and dance companies representing all of our member faith traditions. The concert is hosted annually by a large house of worship in dc. In november 2014, it was hosted at washington hebrew congregation and was attended by approximately 475 people.
emergency services directory: an updated and widely distributed publication which lists emergency food, shelter, health care, and other service in the metropolitan region and is the most comprehensive guide of its kind. In the current fiscal year we finished the print run of the 28th edition of the directory and prepared an on-line version which was completed in the fiscal year and which will debut on-line before the end of calendar year 2015. 7450 copies of the 28th edition were distributed.
bridge builders program: an annual event which highlights the work of a diverse group of individuals in the area of interfaith relationships and provides a cultural event for the interfaith community of dc. In may of 2015 it was hosted at the latter-day saints information center and honored montgomery county executive ike leggett, hindu business leader mythili bachu, and social entrepreneur andy shallal, as well as three young interfaith leaders. Cultural highlight included an lds choir and a troupe of hindu dancers.
