Impact 100 is a terrific organization for women looking to boost their philanthropic game in the Seattle area. It's a refreshing take on giving with the trust-based philanthropy focus. I've learned more about this movement, as well as about so many fantastic nonprofit organizations in the state. The events are meaningful and fun. I've met amazing smart women who are doing interesting things and want to help others in the community and beyond.
This collective grant-making circle uses trust-based philanthropy to support nonprofits in the Seattle area. They have contributed more than $700K directly to small organizations. They work to impact the local philanthropy landscape by envisioning a world where nonprofits spent time transforming their communities, not fundraising.
Impact 100 Seattle is laser focused on supporting local community based organizations, applying trust based philanthropy. By enabling any member to participate in the grant review process, the work ripples beyond the grant making by building awareness of each applicant organization amongst the reviewers. As a member, I have a much better understanding of the needs and communities in the Puget Sound area. I see things I hadn't seen before. And I give my time and money differently as a a result.
Impact 100 Seattle uses trust-based philanthropy to build partnerships with small local nonprofits that are transforming communities! Unrestricted grants, determined by our membership, support these organizations and allow our members to become more educated about a leading edge approach to philanthropy as well as about amazing nonprofits in our area. Looking forward to my fifth year as a member!
