Programs: - House of Wisdom 2.0: The largest independent pro-liberty multimedia content platform in the region, providing an extensive array of original videos, podcasts, and a rich assortment of translated books and articles. This empowers Arab youth with the knowledge often suppressed and censored by authoritarian regimes. This online community is laying the groundwork for individuals to retain their cultural identities while challenging the status quo, to bring to life a modern, pluralistic Middle East led by the people of the region. - Innovation Hub Inspired by Tyler Cowen’s Emergent Ventures, we identify, vet, and support projects and individuals with the power to transform their societies for the better. We equip entrepreneurs and changemakers with the resources they need to prosper. -Underground Schools In Afghanistan We’re working with local partners in the country to fund secret underground schools to counter this oppression and help girls get the vital education they need. Between 2021 and December 2023, 8,007 students were enrolled in two covert schools supported by Ideas Beyond Borders, with 4,615 enrolled just this year. More than 53 teachers imparted education in 38 secret locations, covering 20 subjects. Led by local educators, the Underground Schools initiative offers students access to facilities, educational resources, and a secure environment to pursue their high school education. We curate content specifically designed to spark lively, spirited discussion on controversial topics – from innovative technologies to people fighting for free speech around the globe. -- University of Mosul Project to rebuild ISIS-Destroyed libraries --University Student Translation Program to develop the translation, professional, and leadership skills of Middle-Eastern youth committed to our House of Wisdom 2.0 values.
