HSTC stepped up to offer their advice and assistance when our family cat went missing. My minor son and I decided to start volunteering with their cat adoption center. 25 days later our kitty was found almost 3 miles away, across a huge & busy road - he was perfectly fine :) Our volunteer work continued as we realized what a great, no kill rescue group this was. HSTC does not have a shelter and relies on foster homes and a few vets in the area. We were so compelled to continue to volunteer - almost one year next month and we still enjoy it!
