Direct beneficiaries per year: restore over two acres of riparian buffer by replanting the areas with native plants to improve stream health. We also installed multiple residential rain gardens and other large scale green infrastructure to help improve water quality with windward Oahu watersheds.

Programs: Hui o Koolaupoko (HOK) was established in 2007 to work with communities to improve water quality through ecosystem restoration and non-point source pollution (NPS) in Koolaupoko–Makapuu to Kualoa. HOK applies innovative strategies to restoration, monitoring, best management practices, education and outreach programs.
