Mission: The organization exists to provide support and care for persons in the last phases of incurable disease so that they might live as fully and comfortably as possible. (continued in schedule o).
Programs: Hospice care is a special way of caring for residents of martin and st. Lucie counties who are terminally ill and those that share their lives. This care includes physical care and counseling. Hospice is for all age groups during their final stages of life throughout the human lifespan. The goal of hospice care is to attend to the medical, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of the hospice patient. Additional supportive care and counseling is provided to families. In fy 2016-2017 a total of 3,064 patients received hospice care and the average daily census was 392.
