Mission: To offer comprehensive and professional services, based on christ's love, aimed at restoring dignity and hope. Hopenet offers personal coaching and professional counseling when life falls apart. It serves because it believes all people have value and are designed for a purpose even in the midst of personal crisis. During 2014, hopenet served 689 persons. Counseling is provided by mental health therapists and intern practitioners. Coaching is provided by trained professionals and social workers. All programs are supervised by a licensed clinical master social worker.
Programs: Pathways - a counseling service designed to uncover the root cause of crisis and restore individuals and families to hope. Mental health assessments, assignments and tools are shared to increase functional healthy perspective and behavior. Counseling is provided by licensed therapists with masters level degrees in social work or marriage family therapy. When the core root of dysfunction is addressed, self determination, dignity and hope are restored. (donated therapy services were valued at $27,371. )
crossroads - offers personal coaching from trained social workers to achieve crisis stabilization. Clients receive a professional assessment and opportunity to create an individualized plan. Plans may include steps to obtain tangible material needs such as housing, employment, benefits, financial budgeting, health services, food, or legal assistance. Clients are encouraged to advocate for themselves as steps towards short and long term relief are taken.
connection point - individuals and families with urgent needs can receive crisis intervention through this hotline service. A variety of issues are addressed through this program, such as threat of eviction, family conflict, or threat of suicide. Community referrals to networked local partners or an appointment is made for assessment or services.
