Mission: Enhancing the lives of people with developmental disabilities by providing them with responsive services and support.
Programs: Hope enterprises, inc. Was developed in 1952 to enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities. We provide services throughout seven counties in central pennsylvania while focusing our efforts on helping individuals reach their full potential. Hope provides residential services in group homes in addition to offering in-home and family living services. Beyond the activities of daily living, people are helped to achieve their goals. The overriding goal of the group home is to maintain people in the community and assist them to attain maximum independence and integration. In-home services provide support and assistance to families who are caring for their son or daughter at home to allow them to continue to care for their family member at home. The family living program matches a person with an unrelated family to provide a stable living environment for the person. During the fiscal year ended june 30, 2017, residential services provided service to 122 individuals.
rehabilitation services provided included adult training, community employment services, vocational rehabilitation and work services, and preschool services. Programs are designed to teach individuals to thrive in a work environment as well as other social settings. The preschool programs focus on activities that enhance the development of physical and social skills as well as teach children skills necessary to begin school. During the fiscal year ended june 30, 2017, rehabilitation services provided service to 262 individuals.
transportation services are offered to transport individuals from their residence to training, work, and other services provided by hope. Transportation services served 92 individuals during the year ended june 30, 2017.
